Callbacks

Merchants only integrate with KODIPAY.

KODIPAY receives upstream payment events internally, updates the business state, and then triggers the merchant callback.

This separation allows KODIPAY to evolve or replace payment gateways without breaking the public merchant contract.

In practice, your callback endpoint should:

  • accept KODIPAY lifecycle notifications
  • match the payment by reference and orderNumber
  • persist the new state safely
  • return a 2xx response when processed successfully

Callbacks should be your primary source of asynchronous payment updates. Polling is only the fallback path.
