Payments

KODIPAY exposes a stable merchant-facing payment contract. Merchants always integrate with KODIPAY, not directly with the underlying gateway.

The public payload is centered around:

  • payment_method
  • amount
  • currency
  • reference
  • conditional fields depending on the payment method

Amounts stay public as amount, even though KODIPAY persists minor units internally.

Two identifiers matter operationally:

  • reference for your business reconciliation
  • orderNumber for KODIPAY-side tracking
